GPS: Navigating Student Life at Boston College
Goals. Purpose. Success.
The transition to graduate school can be tough. Spend two days with fellow first-year graduate students from across disciplines to reflect on what it means to be a graduate student.
Rooted in principles of Ignatian Spirituality, GPS is a free overnight retreat experience for first-year master’s students designed to provide a much-needed space for engagement in self-reflection and meaningful conversation about the realities of graduate school at BC.
What is the GPS Grad Student Retreat?
GPS is a 36-hour, overnight retreat held off-campus at the Connors Center for first-year, first-semester master’s students from all eight schools and colleges, the GPS Retreat is a highlight of Boston College’s graduate student formation efforts.
