Settle in to Settle into that Marathon Monday Mindset and come by to make a sign cheering on your favorite runners! While you’re here grab some slices, tasty mocktails, and an assortment of goodies and giveaways.
We'll have trivia, a raffle, info about what to expect from the Marathon and what's expected from you, demonstrations from the Center for Student Wellness, free waterbottles, and a competition for the best poster made - with a prize for the winner!

Mile 21 Breakfast Concert Kick off | 7:00 a.m.–9:30 a.m.
Upper Campus, Corcoran Commons, and Walsh Patio
Stop by one of three locations around campus to grab free breakfast! BC Dining will be serving breakfast empanadas, fruit, coffee and water.
Mile 21 Headline Concert featuring Saweetie | Concert gates open at 8:30 a.m. | Mod Parking Lot | Concert is for BC Students Only and BC IDs are required for entry.
Ticket Information:
Saweetie tickets will be available online beginning Wednesday, April 2 at 10:00 am through the Robsham Theater box office. Tickets are available to Boston College students on a first come first serve basis and limited to (1) per person.
Please note: You must present your e-ticket at the following locations and times to receive your wristband for entry into the concert. There will be no admittance for anyone without a wristband on the day of the show.

Location: Campanella Way/Robsham Theater Arts Center Lawn
The Division of Student Affairs is hosting (3) unique food vendors who each will be dishing out some of their specialties all at no cost! The Smoke Shop (BBQ) will be serving sliders and sides, Crazy Dough will serve pizza, and The Sausage Guy is back cooking up sausage, peppers and onions. Dining will also have a pop up for chicken sliders and dessert. Watch the outdoor screen with a live feed of the Marathon and be sure to get up to Comm Ave to cheer on the runners at Mile 21! Food will be limited, so once a vendor is out, it’s gone!
Mile 21 Cheering Section | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Locations: Commonwealth Avenue/Main gate through St. Ignatius and Murray Center for Student Wellness Cheering Section between Linden Lane and College Row.
The heart of Patriots Day is cheering on the runners as they cross mile 21 and head down Commonwealth Avenue. Join UGBC and your peers to show your Eagle spirit to the 30,000 marathoners as they hit the home stretch of the race. Giveaways including t-shirts, bucket hats, cow bells, thunderstix, hand clappers, rally towels, and more will be handed out. And don’t forget to make a sign or grab a fat head of the BC runners and get loud as they pass by! Join us from Linden Lane to St. Ignatius Church.
Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park
At a deeply discounted price, tickets will be available to attend the Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox game including bus transportation at $5 . Buses will leave campus at 10:00 a.m. for the 11:10 a.m. start. Tickets are limited.

Important Reminders for the Concert:
- You MUST bring your BC ID and wristband.
- NO bags, open containers or bottles of any kind
- Gates open for the concert at 8:30 am - make sure you have your wristband as well as your BC ID.
Entering and Exiting from the Concert:
- Mod residents and those already in Mods should enter the concert from the Mod entrance between 15-16
- All others should enter the concert from Maloney Lawn. Lower campus residence halls should not try to enter at mod entrance or between mods/Corcoran Commons
- There is no re-entry into the concert
- All students will exit the concert from Campanella Way by the Commonwealth Ave Garage. There is no concert exit back directly into the Mods
Important Reminders for Mile 21 (General)
- You MUST bring your BC ID and wristband.
- Food options as well as hydration stations are available throughout the day! Stay hydrated and make sure you eat!
- Commonwealth Avenue will close at 8:00 am on Monday, April 21, 2025.
- Students are not permitted on the course after the Marathon has begun.
- Remember to be good citizens on and off campus! It is important to think about your behavior and the impact you have on others throughout the day!
- Review Boston Athletic Association's list of allowable and prohibited items, as well as spectator information.
- NO bags of any kind will be permitted in or near the marathon route.
Shuttle Buses from Newton
On Marathon Monday we encourage you to take the 7:00 am, 7:15 am, or 7:30 am shuttle from the Newton Campus Stuart stop.
Boston College bus service will be limited during the Marathon due to road closures. Buses will resume service in the late afternoon hours at the discretion of local law enforcement
Shuttle Buses from Brookline
Morning Shuttle (Pre-Marathon Programming):Standard Boston College-branded shuttle runs from Messina to Conte Loop (Conte Forum Gate B) at 7:40 am, 8:00 am, 8:20 am
Conte Loop will be used as the only Chestnut Hill campus stop for Marathon Monday, as College Road stop will be inaccessible due to road closures.
To get from lower campus to Conte Loop, use the pathway behind Conte Forum that comes out by Gabelli Plaza/Hillsides Dining.
Hourly Van Service (Starting at 9 am):
Vans will depart from Conte Loop hourly, starting at 9:00 am.
The route will be: Conte Loop → Reservoir T stop → Messina → Conte Loop.
The van will stage at Conte Loop for the next hourly departure.This hourly process will repeat until approximately 5:00 pm.
Road Reopening and Standard Shuttle Resumption:
Once roads reopen (estimated around 5:00 pm), the standard Boston College-branded Brookline Campus shuttle will resume its standard weekday schedule.
Please note that the 5:00 pm reopening time is an estimate and depends on law enforcement discretion.
