The BC Alumni Association Board of Directors serves as the guiding body of volunteer leaders for the Alumni Association, strengthening relationships among alumni, representing their interests, and generating meaningful engagement opportunities for more than 185,000 Eagles worldwide. We are excited to officially introduce our new board president, Eric Silva ’00, and vice presidents, Danielle Auriemma ’10, MA’13; Ned Roseberry ’93; and Arnie Sookram ’91.

Eric J. Silva ’00 is a founding principal at North South Government Strategies (NSGS). In addition to his client engagements, Eric serves as an advisor to early stage companies that face long-term regulatory challenges and opportunities. He began his career in Washington as a fellow with the Congressional Hunger Center and the Corporation for Enterprise Development before serving as an aide to Senator James M. Jeffords (I-VT) on his Finance Committee and Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee portfolio. He also served as an aide to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Prior to founding NSGS, Eric practiced law for more than eight years in the government and regulatory affairs group of a major international law firm.

Eric has significant experience in a number of policy areas, including tax, agriculture, financial services, health care, energy and the environment, and trade. While practicing law, he served as legal counsel to clients on matters related to the Federal Election Campaign Act, the Lobbying Disclosure Act, and congressional and executive branch ethics rules. He also served as in-house counsel to a major law firm’s Political Action Committee. 

In addition to his role as board president of the Boston College Alumni Association, Eric has long served on the board of the Congressional Hunger Center and as board secretary for the Belfast Beltway Boxing Project. He previously served as a vice president of the BC Alumni Association Board of Directors and has been an active volunteer for the Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter for many years. Eric has also served on his 10th Reunion gift committee and chaired the committee for his 15th Reunion. While a student at Boston College, he was a member of the University President’s Council on Student Formation and the recipient of the Congressman
John Joseph Moakley Award for International Service. 

Eric holds a BA from Boston College and a JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He resides in Washington, D.C.

 


 
Danielle Auriemma '10, MA '13

Danielle V. Auriemma ’10, MA’13 serves as director of alumni engagement at Harvard Medical School (HMS), where she oversees class-based engagement and fundraising activity for HMS alumni and previously served as associate director of alumni engagement. Prior to working at HMS, Danielle spent five years at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she served as director of student and graduate alumni philanthropy, associate director of class giving, and assistant director of student philanthropy. Danielle was awarded the 2016 Leading the Way Award by the MIT Alumni Association and the 2017 CASE District I Silver Excellence Award for Annual Giving Programs. Danielle also worked as a graduate assistant in advancement at Boston College Law School and as a systems analyst and technology consultant at the Exeter Group, Inc.

Danielle dedicates substantial time and energy volunteering. She serves her high school, Kent Place School (Summit, New Jersey), as a class secretary, class agent, and Reunion Committee member. She is a trustee of the John C. Chaffin Educational Fund of Newton, Massachusetts. At Boston College, Danielle has most recently served as a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, an associate member of the Council for Women of Boston College, a BC Connections mentor, and an Endeavor volunteer. Previously, Danielle served as co-chair of the Class of 2010’s 10th Reunion Gift and Engagement Committees and co-chair and class leader for the Boston College Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD) Leadership Council. Danielle received the James F. Stanton ’42 Senior Class Gift Award in 2011.

Danielle holds a BA, summa cum laude, in economics and an MA in higher education administration from Boston College. She resides in Newton, Massachusetts.

 


 
Ned C. Roseberry '93

Ned Roseberry ’93 serves as senior managing director and product manager/sales at Evercore ISI, the research, sales, and trading division of Evercore, a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm based in New York City. In this role, he coordinates cross-firm content and drives collaborative engagement across the firm’s research, sales, and trading teams, featuring Equities research ranking No. 2 (weighted) in the Institutional Investor All-America research poll. In his companion institutional sales role, Ned specializes in advising clients on investment decisions within the financial services sector. Ned joined Evercore as one of the four founding partners of the Evercore equities team in 2010.  Before this, he spent 17 years as a managing director in financial services sector sales at Fox-Pitt, Kelton (FPK), an investment bank focused on global financial services, and he was a member of the FPK US Equities Management Committee through its MBO and subsequent sale in 2010. 

Prior to his new role as vice president, Ned most recently served as a member of the Boston College Alumni Association Board of Directors, heading the new Regional Engagement Committee, and for many years has co-led the Boston College Westchester County Alumni Chapter, where volunteerism and service to others are key chapter pillars. He enjoys mentoring BC students through Eagle Exchange and other initiatives. He has also served in various capacities for the Class of ’93 Reunion Gift and Engagement Committees, including for the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th reunions. Ned will also be the co-chair for the William B. Neenan, S.J., Society at Boston College, a role he looks forward to taking on shortly. He and his wife, Dorsey, are also members of the Shaw Society, promoting legacy giving at Boston College. Ned and his family enjoy volunteering with the Fuller Center for Housing in Westchester and are very active in youth sports and development in their community. In the winter, Ned is a USSA level 200 ski racing coach at Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires. 

Ned graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a BS double majoring in finance and marketing, and was a member of the Varsity Ski team and Varsity Sailing team. He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and lives in Larchmont with his wife, Dorsey, and three children, Charlie, Callie, and Maggie.

Arnold “Arnie” C. Sookram ’91 is founder and a managing director at digital retail strategy LLC, a management consulting business focused on helping consumer brands reimagine their digital commerce strategy and operations with focus on consumer experiences. Prior to his current role, he led digital innovation and global e-commerce at Starbucks. He has led digital marketing and e-commerce teams at Microsoft and Xbox, GameHouse.com, Backcountry.com, and AT&T. Prior to his work building digital businesses for global brands, he was a management consultant at iXL/Scient and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Arnold started his career in corporate finance focused on the energy sector.

Arnold is a founding member of the AHANA Alumni Advisory Council and most recently has served as a member of the Boston College Alumni Association Board of Directors. He started his volunteer experience at BC leading the Seattle Chapter of the BC Alumni Association.

Arnold has a BA in economics from Boston College and an MBA in finance, marketing, and international business from the Stern School of Business at NYU. He and his family live in the Green Lake neighborhood in Seattle, Washington.
