Boston College President William P. Leahy, S.J., and two other Catholic higher education leaders will share thoughts on the tasks of reform and renewal currently facing the Catholic Church at the panel discussion "Revitalizing Our Church: Ideas from University Presidents."
Joining Fr. Leahy at the event, which will take place at Boston College on March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Heights Room of Corcoran Commons, will be Fordham University President Joseph McShane, S.J., and Emmanuel College President Janet Eisner, SNDDEN, M.A.'69.
The conversation will be moderated by C21 Center Director Karen Kiefer.
The panel presentation is the second in this year's C21 Center Easter series of conversations examining the question of how the Church can be a more effective institution, restore its credibility among the faithful, and "move forward in the hope of Easter," according to series organizers. The first event featured insights from the perspective of Catholic media, presented by Crux editor John L. Allen Jr., a journalist highly regarded for his coverage of the Vatican and the Catholic Church, and Matt Malone, S.J., president and editor-in-chief of America Media.
Register to attend the March 28 event.
