Innovations in Graduate Education
Currently Suspended
Since 2020, the Provost’s Office and the Institute for the Liberal Arts has piloted a program that awarded grants of up to $10,000 to fund innovations in graduate education. Although these grants funded a number of successful initiatives, we have decided to pause the program and consider some possible reconfigurations that might better meet the needs of graduate students today. The University's substantial investment in summer support for funded doctoral students in 2025-2026 will inform our planning for the future of these or similar grants.
We will not be accepting proposals for these grants this spring and will not award any IGE grants for the 2025-2026 academic year.
