Federal Financial Aid (Loans)

If you applied for Federal Aid (using the FAFSA & BC Grad Financial Aid Form), you can sign onto Agora to view your package. If you need your Financial Aid Key to access this information, please e-mail Adam Poluzzi, Director of Admission and Financial Aid, at poluzzi@bc.edu.

If you have any questions after reviewing your aid package, contact University Student Services at studentservices@bc.edu or 800-294-0294. Representatives can help you answer questions such as:

- Once approved, when do the loans come in?
- How would an assistantship affect my loan package?
- What are my loan interest rates?

Cost of Attendance

For the 2009-2010 Academic Year, the cost per credit is $1,050. Each course is generally 3 credits.

Full-Time Status

For financial aid purposes, full-time status requires graduate students to take a minimum of 9 credit hours. During the summer, full-time status is still 9 credit hours, but those hours can be taken over both summer sessions. If you receive an assistantship after you have received your loan package, the amount of the loan will likely be reduced by the amount of the assistantship.

Graduation Date

In Agora, your graduation date will be listed as five years from when you start your program. Once you submit your program of study, the graduation date will be changed to your intended year of graduation.
