2024 Native American Heritage Month (November 1 - November 30)

As we enter November, we invite you to join us in celebrating Native American Heritage Month – a time to honor the history, culture, and contributions of Native peoples. This month serves as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the rich traditions, profound wisdom, and enduring resilience of Indigenous communities across the United States. By embracing Indigenous perspectives and honoring the culture, we can foster stronger, more inclusive communities. 2024 Native American Heritage Month Learn Resources

Notice about Prescription Coverage and Medicare

Each year in October the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires that plans send the attached notice to their Medicare-eligible participants regarding prescription drug coverage. Because we do not necessarily know who is Medicare-eligible, we send the notice to everyone.

NOTE:  If neither you nor any of your dependents are "Medicare-eligible" you do NOT need to read the attached notice.

In prior years Harvard Pilgrim Health Care sent this notice for us, but because our prescription drug coverage is now through OptumRx, and not through Harvard Pilgrim, we are sending the notice.

If you are enrolled in a Boston College medical plan (PPO or HMO) and you (or a dependent) also have Medicare eligibility (e.g., you are age 65 or over or are eligible due to a disability), please read the attachment

Creditable Coverage Notice

This is merely an informational notice confirming that you have creditable prescription coverage and no action needs to be taken at this time.
