Communication with students is done by direct mailings, email, and voicemail. A large calendar of events is posted outside the Practicum Office that lists all current events. Students also receive a hard copy of the calendar at orientation meetings each semester.

Director and Certification Officer
Primary responsibilities include the day to day operations of practicum programs, the placement of all full practicum student teachers, professional development of the clinical faculty supervisors, advisor to Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars Program, and special collaborative projects. Areas of interest include multi-cultural education, clinical supervision, reading and literacy, and school-college collaboration.

Assistant Director

Primary responsibilities include placement of all pre-practicum student teachers, recruitment and training of graduate assistant supervisors, coordination of Special Issues in Teaching lecture series, and communication to the schools.

Placement Coordinators are Chris Carroll and Nick Keough. Questions about pre-practicum placements should be directed to the placement coordinators.

Practicum Program Specialist and Office Manager
Responsible for the daily operations of the office and for students' files. Appointments with the Director or Assistant Director should be made through Ms. Logue.
